Why Are Men Such Animals?
“Hello ladies, a little bit about myself. I graduated from Duke University a couple years ago. I have a great job which pays incredibly, a Lexus, and an apartment which is filling out very nicely. I’ve been wanting to buy a house, but there is one thing missing, my thin, beautiful trophy wife on my arm. You should be athletic (I run five miles every day, rain or shine) and your fat ass will not be sitting on the couch. You should be intelligent enough to hold a conversation in polite company, but know your place, and when it is appropriate to speak. You should know how to cook, because I am tired of ordering in, and going out every night. My mom has already said that she’d be happy to show you how to cook some of my favorite meals. You can be college educated, however you won’t be working anyhow, so I don’t see how it matters. Unless of course you studied home-making. Be sure to send a full body photo of yourself, clothing optional.” Unknown blog entry found on (www.ecollegetimes.com 1).
“I have CUCUMBERS and Corn and other toys, for any local women that are interested.” (www.ecollegetimes.com 2). Unknown
“I am a 56 year old male. I have decided to get a vasectomy next month and I would like to impregnate a woman before I have this procedure done. It would behoove you to act quickly for maximum exposure to my sperm. I will only do this naturally without condoms. If your husband can’t do the job, I can.”( www.ecollegetimes.com 3). Unknown
Are women slaves to these Neanderthals? No wonder women think men are disgusting pigs! Granted this doesn’t apply of all men; however, in our society, the majority of men have this kind of view of women. This person has no particular caring or desire to find out about the women he is looking for, so long as she has the qualities that are out lined in his quote. The relationship between men and women has always been a love-hate type. I wish to sieve through what a woman finds most annoying in her partner to put an end to the age old battle of the sexes. It would be very easy to put it down in a few simple points, but perhaps it is best to debate this topic by asking questions to metaphorically put the shoe on the other foot.
How would you feel if you see your man with another woman enjoying a cup of coffee at the coffee shop around the street corner? Chances are, if your were in her place, you would feel a sense of jealousy, even if the woman is just an office colleague who just wanted to feel a little relaxed, and your would begin to question your entire relationship. This is just an example and hundreds more can be cited. Any relationship can and should survive just on one sentence, “Trust me and I will never let you down.” If you really mean it, this can be the foundation of any relationship.
Now imagine you are on a first date and he, like the quote guy, starts talking about the amount of money that he has made in the stock markets or the new Lexis that he has bought. I am sure more often than not a woman would not like to hear about these things on the first date, because they know what it eventually leads to the end of the quote, and with them being just another toy to please the “MAN”.
It didn’t always be this way, before the Women’s Liberation movement in the Fifties in England, generally the main goal of women in society was to get married to a handsome young man, live in and keep a house, and have a lot of children. This was their greatest achievement, but post Women’s Liberation movement, women became dissatisfied with the role of the lonely house wife, and desired for the destruction of the “natural oppressors”(www.geocities.com/ How The Women’s Movement Taught Women to Hate Men 1) which led to the inevitable after berth of promiscuous clothing and the denial of all things masculine No Tonka trucks, no boys toys – nothing that could encourage a boy to think of himself as masculine. The whole idea of men and masculinity… we considered disgusting.(www.geocities.com/ How The Women’s Movement Taught Women to Hate Men 2) I realize the Women’s Liberation movement is a radical group of “militant lesbians” but they do have a point, we guys do tend to “oppress” women into being something they aren’t.
